- Provide advice on how technology can solve business problems and achieve goals
- Become the go-to person for new products and software available in the market
- Identify opportunities to upgrade, simplify, or reuse existing technology landscapes
- Work with internal stakeholders to document business pain-points and create high-quality processes maps, gaps and opportunities
- Work with implementation partners to integrate software solutions into the overall GT landscape and embedded into business processes
- Lead user requirements workshops, providing challenge to the users to ensure the requirements meet desired business outcomes
- Partner with technical delivery teams to translate business requirements into well designed technical solutions, ensuring the end-state solution matches the business requirements
- Cost vs. benefit analysis and vendor selection for implementing new technology solutions
- Design and implement testing and training plans
- Work with the business to ensure a smooth transition from dev to production
- Can clearly communicate ideas to both technical stakeholders and business end users
- Experience gathering, defining and documenting business requirements for the enhancement, replacement, or introduction of IT systems
- Experience analysing systems and procedures, process design, and documenting ‘As is’ and ‘To be’ assessments for a Target Operating Model
- Knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience of several technology areas including but not limited to: third party vendor integrations, ERP, CRM, MS Dynamics, MS environment, data integrations, RPA.
- Experience in the delivery of large-scale business/technology programmes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience conducting workshops and interviews
- Experience with Stakeholder Management and working collaboratively with Development and Testing teams to deliver high quality solutions that meet business needs
- Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies, including the creation of User Stories
- A strong academic record including a third level degree in an IT related area
- 3+ years Tech Analysis experience, ideally coming from a large consulting house or large internal corporate environment
- Experience with Visio or similar package for presenting complex ideas visually
- Qualifications in Lean Six Sigma, PMP or Prince 2 a benefit, but not mandatory
- Some basic understanding of development language a plus, but not essential (e.g. Python, SQL)
